Prior to testing, ASTM C109 requires prisms to be cured for a period of at least 24 hours at 23ºC ±2ºC, 95 % RH minimum. The prisms are then de-moulded and stored under water for the required curing time, usually 48 hours, 72 hours, 7 and 28 days.
